'To The Future!' : A Meet the Robinsons Movie Review

For years, Disney has been bringing quality family films for the public. From the classic fairytales to the unequalled Toy Story movies, Disney has been a force to be reckoned with. They could do anything, and yet, they could still capture the magic. But for me, no Disney movie is as significant and inspiring as Meet the Robinsons.

Exactly what is the movie all about? A young boy left at the doorstep of an orphanage of some sort who gets rejected after a lot of adoption interviews and dreams of finding his mother again so they'd be one family again. It's pretty ambitious for him, but Cornelius, or usually called as Lewis, doesn't stop. After all, he's a boy genius and can invent some pretty cool things.

Meet the Robinsons is a really great movie. The aspect of the future being filled with innovative gadgets, talking robots, Insta-Buildings and a lot more... It's pretty overwhelming. And these things are all in the movie.

Lewis, after getting rejected by the last couple who interviewed him, was inspired to find his mother, and built a machine he called the "Memory Scanner", which supposedly scans your brain and brings back your memories from the past. He actually succeeds in making the machine, but his plans get destroyed by Doris, a bowler hat. A mysterious boy named Wilbur then tells Lewis that he must go back to the science fair and demonstrate the memory scanner, but Lewis, having enough of the failures he has been experiencing, declines.

What happens next, you must see for yourself.

This is one of the greatest movies ever. An inspiring story, a diverse set of characters... everything. Definitely worth watching.

Here's part one of the movie below.
